HIPAA 5010
HIPAA 5010 is the next version of electronic claims and claims related transactions. It will replace the current version, HIPAA 4010A1, January 1, 2012.
HIPAA 5010 paves the way for further standardization, leading to better communication and more efficient business processes. It is the next step in electronic transaction simplification between covered entities that include providers, payers and clearinghouses.
