Connectivity FAQs
Q1. I only need connectivity for file transfers, what are my options.
A1. The preferred method for file transfers is via the ASK website at, www.ask-edi.com. Other options available include, FTP using PPP dialer, or asynchronous dial up. Further information on these options can be found the in the
Telecommunications Manual.
Q1. Who are IVANS and VisionShare?
A2. IVANS and VisionShare are two network service vendors that can provide connectivity for file transfers to ASK. Both vendors have pricing packages available for your facility to choose from.

Q3. If we already use IVANS or VisionShare for connectivity to other payers, can we use the same connectivity to ASK?
A3. Yes. If you are already using a network service vendor, you may contact your existing network service provider about adding additional payers.
Q4. Am I required to separate my claims files by line of business?
A4. At this time we do not require that files be separated. Trading Partners may separate files to satisfy payer connectivity requirements.
