Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas (BCBSKS) 835 electronic remittance advice.

Effective November 06, 2008 two corrections will be made to the BCBSKS remittance advice.

1.  A correction will be made to BPR07 of the ANSI 4010A1 835 file. BPR07 is used to report the ABA Transit Routing number. An ABA Transit Routing number is 9 digits. Currently BCBSKS is reporting a space in front of the 9 digit number. The space will be removed.

2.  A correction will be made to the CLP02 of the ANSI 4010A1 835 file. CLP02 is used to report the claim status code. BCBSKS is reporting a 1, Processed as Primary. The claim status code will be reported correctly.
