Attention New York Customers:
Over the next several months additional edits will be implemented at ASK to reject claims back to the provider. In the past, these claims may have denied in the payer adjudication system, but by rejecting these claims on the front end it will enable the provider to correct and resubmit the claims quickly and more efficiently.
Note: The information in the attached documents will be enhanced as the release dates get closer. Providers and vendors are encouraged to check these documents often for updates. New edits will be deployed through 2012 and into 2013 on the following dates: August 20, September 16, October 21, November 18 and December 16, January 20, 2013 and February 17, 2013.
