Did you get my claim file?
This is a common question we hear from trading partners
and one you can often answer without having to contact
the ASK Help Desk. Check the reports in your “mail
box” for the following:
- The first report that will be placed in your mailbox
after you send a file to us is the Transaction Acknowledgement
Report (ends with a .txt extension on the file name).
If the file passed the first requirement you will
see:
***No input validation problems***subsequent
reports to follow***
If the above statement is other
than this, contact ASK or your vendor for assistance.
- The second report to be placed in your mailbox
is the 997 Report (ends with a .997 extension on
the file name). If the 997 Report is not followed
by the third report, the .rpt report within a two
hour time frame. Please contact ASK or your vendor
for assistance.
- The third and last report that is placed in your
mailbox is the “.rpt” report (.rpt extension
of the file name and date of file). This report will
generally be delivered to your mailbox soon after
we receive your claim file. This report will detail
accepted and rejected claims.
