ASK performs a variety of front-end editing on transactions. This is beneficial in assuring that transactions are as error free as possible before they are sent to a payer for processing. This helps in getting a response back to you as quickly as possible. Edits can change as the requirements of a payer change.

Trading Partners are normally given 60-day notice before edit changes are made as they relate to a payer’s requirements. The 60-day notice may not be given if it is found an edit was issued incorrectly or in error.
