General Announcements:

• We opened the floor to NPI questions about any payers. No one had questions at this time.
• A problem was identified with PC Print the Medicare A 835 print image product. CMS has reported an update will soon be available. When the update is received it will be posted to the web at:  http://www.kansasmedicare.com/part_A/edi/pc_print.htm
• A problem was identified with Easy Print the Medicare B 835 print image product and has been reported to Medicare. No resolution information is available at the time the minutes were published.
• Medicare A data center move from Medicare North West Data Center (MNWDC) to EDC will be completed and in production Monday November 27, 2006. 

• Updating EDI Enrollment procedures
• Signatures required on all new setups requesting a new TP#. This means a paper form is required.
• Changes/Updates to existing TP# will be available through e-form.
• All requests for setup, changes or updates for 835 transactions will require a signature. This means a paper form is required.
• All new forms will be available on the websites after December 1, 2006.

System Updates:

• The next system deployment is scheduled for Sunday, January 14, 2007.

All Payer Information:

835 Information:

• Beginning December 1, 2006 Medicare will charge a fee for paper remittance advices requested through Provider Call Centers however if requested via the Voice Automated system (IVR/AVR) no charge will be incurred.

• We will be attending the Northland Medical Managers in Kansas City, MO November 17, 2006.
