BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York alliance with Amerigroup
- BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York has a new alliance with Amerigroup Partnership Plan, LLC to administer services to Medicaid Managed Care (MMC) and Child Health Plus (CHP) members.
- This agreement is limited to BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York's state-sponsored programs (MMC and CHP). It does not affect other lines of business.
- Prefix for MMC Members will be WNH
- Prefix for CHP Members will be WNB
- Changes take effect November 1, 2016, for dates of service on or after November 1, 2016.
*** ASK will implement editing to reject claims identified as Medicaid Managed Care and Child Health Plus with dates of service on or after November 1, 2016.
