BCBSKS (47163) 835 ERA Update – TRN02 Check Number

Beginning the week of 02/21/2021, the value transmitted in the TRN02 will contain the actual check number. This will only impact those still receiving paper checks.

The TRN04 check reference number will remain the same and will continue to be sent as it is currently.

If you receive an EFT from BCBSKS, you will not see any changes to the values sent in the TRN02 or TRN04.
