ASK-EDI SFTP MFA Enablement – Opt In & Secure Your Access!

ASK-EDI is introducing multifactor authentication (MFA) as an option starting June 1, 2025. You can choose to enable MFA at any time before enforcement begins on July 27, 2025.

Additionally, trading partners who have the ability to generate an SSH key are encouraged to upload one to their account. Uploading an SSH key is separate from opting into MFA, but provides an alternative authentication method that eliminates the need for passwords.

Your three options:
✔ Opt in to MFA early—transition on your timeline before enforcement in July 27, 2025.
✔ Upload an SSH key—strengthen security & simplify authentication by eliminating password usage.
✔ Do nothing —MFA requirements will be enforced for your account on July 27, 2025.

Important Note: SSH key submissions take 3–5 business days to process, so uploading early ensures a seamless transition.
